Website Update Under Way

Tonight, I have begun the process of updating the look and feel of Mr Papa’s World. Hopefully, you will think the appearance and functionality are improved. The update should generally not be noticeable to users. If you experience an issue, please try again a bit later. I will post back when the update is complete.

Funny Joke

I ran across this little joke on the net the other day. If you have raised kids and done the pet thing, the story below will have you laughing out LOUD! Just after dinner one night, my son came up to tell me there was “something wrong” with one of the two lizards he holds […]

Cruise Talk Central Relaunched

Cruise Talk Central has been relaunched! This is Suzanne’s personal blog on cruise travel. She is a cruise fanatic and spends time each day chatting with others about cruising. Most of her discussions have ocurred in various forums, but now she is taking it to her own personal blog. Fellow cruisers might know her as […]

Heatwave

Summer is in full swing here in the desert of Arizona. Tucson has consistently been over 100 degrees. Today is forecast for 106 and tomorrow for 107. They are saying we (Tucson) may hit 110 this weekend. Luckily, living in Sonoita, we are a good 10 degrees cooler. Plus, we usually have a breeze blowing […]

Mr Papa’s World Site Work

I had hoped to release Mr Papa’s World with a new and improved theme this past weekend, but never got it done. Mainly, it was because I have been dissatisfied with my theming work to date. I wont release another theme until I am happy. I have gone back to the drawing board twice and […]

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to everyone. Its a nice, leasurely day for this father. On tap for today is some America’s Army, some website work and maybe a little US Open golf. For dinner, its gonna be a Filet Mignon steak night. Hooah!

Premature Ending

Some much for best laid plans. Suzanne called and they are coming home this evening. They were going to stay the night in El Paso, TX and drive the rest of the way in the morning. Guess they were feeling pretty good and decide to go the whole way. Kind of puts a damper on […]

Website Update

I have added an archives page to the site to make it easier to get all of most past posts. You can get at it via the navbar near the tab. In addition, I have been playing with the theme and may switch to that new one soon.

Last Day

Today is my last full day of bachelorhood freedome. Tomorow, Suzanne and the kids return from their Dallas getaway. It’s been a nice run. I still have next summer to look forward to. Dont get me wrong, it will be nice to see them back here again, I just like the time alone every now […]

A Mother’s Meaning of Semper Fi

I ran across this story and pictures on the net today. A very moving tribute… MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (March 2, 2006) Karla Comfort received a lot of looks and even some salutes from people when she drove from Benton, Ark., to Camp Pendleton, Calif., in her newly-painted, custom Hummer H3 March 2. […]
