Cienega Fire – Dry Lightening Grass Fire

Wow, a close call for some of our neighbors, and only slightly less close for us. Dry lightening ignited a grass fire that started in the Las Cienegas, but quickly spread towards our neighborhood. Most all of the occupied lots in our neighborhood has been mowed completely at then end of the rainy season last year, and that made it a lot easier for the fire fighters to protect the houses. All people, animals, houses were saved.
