Showstoppers Weekend

This weekend is the Showstopper Dance Competition for Suzanne and Savannah’s dance studio. Savannah is taking a bunch of classes (4 or 5?) this year and Suzanne is also taking a bunch. Savannah will competing with several of her classes in the team competition and will also be competing with a solo song and dance routine. Suzanne is competing with a solo song and dance routine.
Sean and I get to sit in the audience and be thrilled with the competition. Sean is also taking several classes this year, but just started in January, so he isnt competing but does want to see his break dance and hip hop classes compete.
I will post the results and maybe some pictures next week…
Dance Dance Dance

The dance craze is sweeping through Mr Papa’s World. Okay, its not involving me, but it is giving me a bunch of free time. Savannah has really been into dancing over the last couple years. This year I think she is taking Jazz, Tap, Polynesian, Hip Hop, Folklorico and Tumbling. I am sure I am missing a few too. Now Sean is taking some Hip Hop, Break Dancing and a Tumbling classe – hopefully they will help with his football. Even Mom Suzanne is taking four or five classes. What this means is that the Savannah is at the dance studio 3 nights a week, Sean is there 2 nights a week, but Suzanne is there four nights a week. Basically, it leaves me a bunch of nice alone time to play Xbox 360, America’s Army or work on my websites.
