Its baseball season again for Sean. His team opened up their season today. After seeing some practices over the past few weeks, I must admit, I wasnt expecting much. Sean is again playing catcher and got the starting call today.
When it was all over, the Sonoita boys were victorious 12-9. As usual for his age group, a bunch of walks. Sean did quite well behind the plate. I like the way he is getting in front of the ball. We need to work on his throwing though as the tosses to second or third are still lacking a bit. Having played catcher myself for almost 15 years, maybe i can teach him a thing or two.
A victory today was nice since I cant remember the last time his team has won. Sean and I cant wait for football season to begin though.
