Small Update December 12th, 2007
This past weekend, I finally made an update to my genealogy stuff here.
A family member, John Butler, has given me a bunch of new information and very graciously provided me some corrections to his part of the family tree.
I also received a few other minor inputs and corrections that are included in this updated.
I still have a two stacks of papers and record from other family members (thanks Brett and Elaine!) that I haven't found the time to go through yet. Hopefully, while enjoying an extended holiday vacation this Christmas, I can get started on them.

Privacy Update August 2nd, 2007
No, I still haven't found the time to do some genealogy work. I have a bunch of data to work with, just not the time.
However, I have updated how the genealogy data is displayed here at Mr Papa's World. I recently received some correspondence from a woman who was concerned about the information displayed. I have always hidden all information about living folks except for their names in the name of privacy. I don't know if this lady is a bit tech paranoid or doesn't realize that most of my information on distantly related relatives has come from easily accessible sources on the net, or what, but that's pretty much irrelevant. She has asked me to not list the names of her family feeling that reveals too much information.
My research is for my family and I. I certainly don't want to display information that may make some folks uncomfortable. So in the future, in the interest of privacy, visitors to Mr Papa's World Genealogy pages will see the names of folks that are still living displayed as "living" instead of the full name.
I expect to do some real genealogy research this month and have some updates soon.

Mr Papa's World Genealogy Relaunch May 6, 2007
Welcome to the brand new Mr Papa's World Genealogy Pages, the family history of the Klasens. I am happy to announce that the site has been completely redone.
The site is now based off a different genealogy application, The Next Generation. Hopefully, you will find it easier to use and find the information you are looking for. The appearance is also a bit easier on the eyes. I am still toying with the idea of whether or not I want to move the old news updates over here - probably wont.
Also, if you had an account on the previous genealogy site, your account did not transfer over. Simply register for another one.
As to updates, not really much in the way of genealogy updates. I have been a bit remiss in working on the family history. I hope to make some major updates in the next few weeks as I have some info and some leads to follow up.
I hope you enjoy the new site!
