  Notes	Daniel is listed on the census rolls as being both a painter and owning the "Draging Company". Daniel was both. Family knowledge. John Henry Bock and Daniel Komray formed the Draging Company which is still today owned and run by the Bock children. Daniel as being a painter, had developed a 'varnish' which everyone wanted to know his secret. The varnish had such a hard finish that Richie could not even chisel through it. Rich tried to duplicate it when he got older but could not. He thought it to be a substance called 'water glass' which you could purchase in any drug store or hardware store. He tried mixing the 'water glass' in the varnish, but could not find the proper dosage of each. It is close to the substance we know today as 'ployethelene'. Daniel took his secret to his grave.
