As detailed in yesterday’s family update, we spent all day yesterday in Sierra Vista.
Sean’s baseball team was victorious by a score of 15 – 0. The game was pretty much miserable as there was a sustained 30 mph wind blowing. At times it gusted significantly harder. I got called on to umpire the game. The game was called after three innings since it was tough conditions and the game was never in doubt.
The Cinco de Mayo festival in Sierra Vista was kind of a family event. Suzanne and the kids were dancing with their dance company at the festival. I must say I had more fun at this dance festival than at most of them. The couple of beers that I had must have contributed to that. We had some good chuck wagon barbecue for dinner. I also took some pictures of the event and have uploaded the images. Check them out!
After our return home from Sierra Vista, we watched the cinematic extravaganza Commando with Arnold Schwarzenegger. This is one cheesy film, but I still have a good time watching it – mostly just laughing at it.
Wow Mr. Papa, you forgot to include all the other stuff we did yesterday!!! We had lunch at the Mall food court, then we went to see Spider Man 3, which was great!!! Then we bought a dress shirt for you a Dillard’s in Gorilla size 18 1/2 neck, 37 sleeve!!!
The dancing production was well….. Quite a Production!!! The party was great!!! Good good, Great Entertainment!!! We had a great time!!! Savannah only did 7 dances in 5 different costumes!!! She is great!!!
Mama only did 4 dances in 2 costumes… she had it easy,… same with Sean, just 3 dances, 2 costumes.
Check out the gallery for great pictures.
LOL….Gorilla size? Great pictures of the kids…..looks like you guys had a great time. Is Sean’s team undefeated?
Gorilla? That’d be me… ๐ the neck is bigger than it needs to be, but all in the name of extra comfort…
Sean’s team is 6 – 0 now (or is 5 – 0?)… clearly, the cream of the league… Sean seems to be dedicated enough to being catcher now that we went out this weekend and got him a good catchers mitt instead of the really old thing the team has laying around… Having been a life long catcher myself, it wasnt exactly a position I was rooting for him to play, but its what he wanted to do…
Love the pictures! Thanks for sharing.

another hint…. don’t buy dress shirts at Dillards unless you want to give an arm and a leg for it… wow, must have been twice what I have ever paid for a shirt before… Suzanne was doing the shopping – I was pretty much a mannequin.. of course, I am a cheapskate when it comes to clothing…
