Suzanne and the kids have another dance recital this weekend. Seems like an awful lot of dancing and dancing related events going on lately. This weekend is their Summer recital. They will be doing a bunch of things from Cats. Their dance company puts on many recitals throughout the year. They have the Spring Recital, the Summer Recital, The Fall International Spectacular and the Christmas Show. Combine those with the Showstoppers Regional competition and Showstoppers National competition and you have lots of dance recitals.
Now that football season and cheerleading have also started, it makes for busy times. Suzanne and the kids leave the house in late afternoon and dont return home until almost 9:00 every night during the week. That’s a lot of running around. It does give me time to play video games or work on projects after I get home from work though.
Toss in the fact that the kids start back to school next week and its easy to see why the times during kids childhood goes by really fast. One just has to be careful not to get too caught up in the activity to not enjoy those times.
