I am feeling a bit giddy today. Thus far, this has been a tremendous season for the Detroit Lions. With yesterdays 44 – 7 blowout of the Denver Broncos, they improved their season mark to 6 – 2.
One of the best things about their emergence this year is the complete surprise they have caught the football press. Of course, I never would have predicted the start they have had, but I did think an 8 – 8 year was within reach. Now, they are getting accolades and even showing up in top ten teams lists.
This week they come to Arizona to play the Cardinals. I have to admit, I am thinking about getting some tickets. its a couple hour drive, but would be worth it.
They now have the hard part of the schedule with upcoming games against the Giants, Cowboys, Chiefs and two games against the Packers.
